Congratulations to our long-standing partner the University of Auckland, ranked number one in a new global ranking that assesses the social and economic impact of universities.
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings measured how well more than 450 universities around the world were delivering on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The University of Auckland was ranked first overall and came top for two of the goals: good health and wellbeing, and partnerships.
ACG Pathways works in partnership with the University to deliver the University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies. This year we are celebrating the partnership’s 20th year.
Delivered exclusively by ACG Pathways, the programme prepares international students for entry into the university’s undergraduate degrees, ensuring they not only meet the entry requirements, but are also well equipped for the challenges of degree-level study.
ACG Education’s CEO of Pathways, Marnie Watson, said the accolade provided yet another reason for international students to aspire to study at the University.
“The University of Auckland is an international, research-led university, which is an aspirational option for international students wanting to study at tertiary level in English.
“This top-in-world ranking rewards the University’s great performance in areas such as inclusive and equitable education, gender equality and fostering innovation, and is yet another motivating factor for students to study there. We are delighted to see our partner’s global standing in this area.”
