The University of Tasmania Foundation Studies program prepares students for entry into the University of Tasmania’s undergraduate degrees.
The University of Tasmania Foundation Studies Program (FSP) is delivered at the Sandy Bay, Hobart campus by UP Education in partnership with the University of Tasmania.
UP Education has over 20 years’ experience delivering foundation studies programs which are specially designed for international students who seek a university education but need academic support to achieve their dreams.
The program offers flexibility with two intakes per year in February and October.
Successful completion of the Foundation Studies Program
(achieving the score required by the relevant faculty) provides graduates with direct entry into the undergraduate degree progam* they are interested in. *Places restricted for Nursing, Medicine and Pharmacy
Students who apply for the University of Tasmania Foundation Studies program will receive two offers of place when they apply – a letter of offer for foundation, and a conditional letter of offer for an undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania. An unconditional offer of place will be issued as soon as students have successfully completed the foundation program and met admission requirements.
Successful completion of Year 11 of high school
(relevant subjects may be required)
The University of Tasmania International Pathways College is located in the Commerce Building Level 2 in the heart of the University campus.
