Students have 39 one-hour periods each week, with classes running from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Fridays. The timetable allows for breaks at different times of the day when students are not in class, and all students have a half hour break at lunchtime. Where possible, time is also set aside for visits to other University campuses or for staff from the University to come and speak to students.
